United are in their third strip to avoid a clash with the home side's iconic red and yellow shirts. Galatasaray also wear white shorts which has made United tweak their kit. Fans were able to see the kit in action earlier in the day when the Under-19s faced off in the UEFA Youth League.

Manchester United take on Galatasaray needing a win but have a poor record against clubs from Turkey. The Red Devils have lost three of their last four games against Turkish clubs. The only win came at Old Trafford İstanbul Basaksehir in November 2020.

Manchester United start the game in third place in the group and must take three points to keep their hopes of qualification alive. Group leaders Bayern Munich have already booked their place in the last 16 and take on FC Copenhagen in the other fixture. A win for Gala would see United make an early exit from Europe's premier club competition.
